Overview: 

This introductory module will expose students to various components of psychology. Students will learn about personality development, altered states of consciousness (sleep, dreams, and hypnosis), learning, memory, and abnormal behaviour. Students will also study the biological basis of behaviour, motivation, sensation, perception, health psychology and social psychology. Students will also learn about psychologists' methods in their science and practice. In addition, students are expected to develop their critical thinking skills throughout the module while building their reading, writing, and discussion skills.

ii. A Level or its equivalent with a minimum Grade E in any 2 subjects and a credit in English at O level or its equivalent;

iii Matriculation/Foundation with CGPA 2.00 and a credit in English at O level or its equivalent; 

OR 
iv Diploma or equivalent with a min. CGPA of 2.00 and a credit in English at O level or its equivalent;
